A woman and two children were found dead near Disney World in Florida, according to an autopsy report which had been released on thursday. The father of the woman and their three children, Anthony Todt, has been charged with first degree murder, according to Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports. In addition he faces an animal cruelty charge for the death of the a dog belonging to the family.
The woman, Megan Todt, age 42, was stabbed several times in her abdomen. Her two sons Alek, age 13 and Tyler, age 11, had a single stab wound to each of their abdomens, states the Office of the Medical Examiner. Their 4 year old daughter was not harmed during the incident.
Sheriff Russ Gibson said Todt had confessed to the killings. The sheriff said the victims appeared to have been killed at a rental home, in late December.
The bodies were found when federal agents and deputies went to the Florida house to serve an arrest warrant. Todt was currently under investigation by the FBI for allegations of health care fraud.
